EJ National Gathering Event

Developing the spirituality of faith of Per village youth through the Emmaus Journey (EJ).

In connection with the EJ National Gathering event, Elia's group Per village made a short video about their experience as EJ participants. The video was shown at the EJ National Gathering event in Jakarta.

Sekami (Serikat Kepausan Misioner) activitiy in Kairin Village.

Ragats Supports For the Youth

These middle and high school students are foster children of Ragats since 2020. Some of them live in dormitories in Agats. They took part in fellowship and Legio Maria activities (accompanied by Father Robert Hia, OSC), as well as online and onsite English classes (taught by Father Arya, OSC).

Father Robert Hia, OSC also teach them to create habits of saving (“belajar menabung”).

Serikat Kepausan Misioner

Sekami (Serikat Kepausan Misioner) activities in Per Village are held every Saturday at 15.30 WIT. Attended by 80 children and accompanied by 4 tutors.

Emmaus Journey Class 13 & 14

EJ class 13 Per Village, attended by 8 participants, studying from June 2022 to April 2023.

EJ class 14 Per Village, attended by 9 participants, studying from June 2023 to April 2024.

October & December 2023 / Bayun, Yaosakor Village

5.000 Rosary Program

5.000rosary are distributed to the Asmat communities, i.e. in Bayun, Yaosakor villages.

Asmat Bintang Certificates

Children from Uwus, Ewer, Per, and Yepem Villeges received Asmat Bintang certificates for the September-October period. They are chosen and awarded for being diligent, brave, kind in an online character development classes. This class was presented by Sister Grace Kathrin Santoso OSU. Even though it is not official and formal, this certificate is a tool for children to build a portfolio of achievements outside of formal channels.
